How We Got Here
DX Electric opened in 1975 with a straightforward goal: give OEM manufacturers in Dallas a reliable local source for electrical components. The founders built the business on honest pricing, deep product knowledge, and a willingness to show up for customers in ways national distributors couldn’t match.
Through the 1980s, DX grew into one of the leading electrical supply companies in North Texas. The catalog expanded, the customer base deepened, and a reputation for integrity took hold.
In 2009, Lanny and Jill Phillips, the company founders, passed the business to their daughters, Beckey, Misty, and Dina, continuing a family tradition of ownership and accountability. Under their leadership, DX has added multiple warehouses, grown its in-stock SKU count to 7,700, and added services like vendor-managed inventory and custom kitting.
Today, DX Electric serves OEM manufacturers across Texas and nationwide, backed by the same values it started with.

Beckey Fuller
Beckey has led DX Electric since acquiring the business from her parents in 2009, growing the company into one of Texas’s most trusted OEM electrical distributors. Her leadership is grounded in the same customer-first values the company was founded on.
Blake Kelsey
Blake Kelsey is a seasoned finance executive with over 15 years of experience leading financial strategy, operations, and transformation for private equity–backed and family office-owned businesses. As CFO of DX Electric Company since March 2026, he brings a proven track record of building scalable finance infrastructures, driving EBITDA expansion, and executing M&A transactions, system integrations, and operational improvements across a range of industries.
Todd Ware
Todd Ware has been a part of DX Electric since September 1998, building his career alongside the company’s growth and success. Over the years, he has worked across nearly every area of the business, including sales, operations, purchasing, and customer service, giving him a deep understanding of the industry and the day-to-day needs of DX Electric’s customers.
As Vice President of Sales, Todd brings a hands-on leadership style and a customer-first mindset that reflects the core values DX Electric was built on. His broad experience and long-standing commitment to the company have helped strengthen relationships with customers, vendors, and team members alike, while continuing to drive growth and service excellence across the organization.
Darren Baker
Darren Baker serves as Vice President of Purchasing, overseeing procurement strategy, vendor relationships, inventory management, and supply chain operations. With extensive experience in purchasing and distribution, he is focused on optimizing inventory performance, strengthening supplier partnerships, and supporting operational efficiency across the organization. Darren is committed to delivering value-driven purchasing solutions, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring reliable product availability to support continued company growth.
Bill Reddin
Bill Reddin serves as Sales Branch Manager for the Houston warehouse operation, overseeing branch performance, sales growth, customer relationships, and daily operations. With extensive experience in distribution and branch management, he is dedicated to operational excellence, long-term customer partnerships, and developing high-performing teams. Bill is committed to delivering responsive service, maintaining efficient operations, and driving continued growth throughout the Houston market.
